 Wolfgang Rasper (age 59) of German nationality, has been the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the financial sector since 2002. Married and the father of two, he has a degree in Economics and Commerce and speaks English, Portuguese and Italian. He started his career in Volkswagen at Wolfsburg in 1980. Between 1985 and 1988 he held directorships in South America, in 1989 he returned to Volkswagen AG to the Financial Planning department and in 1993 he took on the appointment as Teamleader of Financial Planning and Business Strategy for Volkswagen of America. In 1995, at Wolfsburg, he became Financial Manager for the North American Region; in July 1997 he returned to the U.S.A. holding the role of General Financial Director with Volkswagen of America.
